Provide CPR – HLTAID001

This CPR training course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to perform CPR in line with the Australian Resuscitations Council guidelines.

After completion of this accredited CPR training course, participants will be able to

  • Respond to an emergency
  • Perform CPR procedures
  • Communicate details of the first aid incident

Provide First Aid – HLTAID003

This first aid course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. This course is suited to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

After completion of this accredited course, participants will be able to

  • Respond to an emergency situation
  • Apply appropriate first aid procedures including CPR and use of an AED (defib machine)
  • Communicate details of the incident
  • Evaluate the first aid incident and own performance
emergency response training

Provide an Emergency Response in an Education and Care Setting – HLTAID004

This emergency response training course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to provide an emergency first aid response to infants, children and adults.

The first aid course is suited to educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.

This course may contribute towards approved first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training under the Education and Care Services National Law, and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011).

After completion of this accredited emergency response training course, participants will be able to:

  • Respond to an emergency situation
  • Apply appropriate first aid procedures including CPR, use of an AED (defib machine), use of an epipen, treatment of asthma
  • Communicate details of the first aid incident
  • Evaluation the incident and own performance
