Victorian Ambulance Subscription

Are you going to be out of pocket if you need an ambulance?

You may think you are healthy and never need it an ambulance, but that is why they are called accidents.

Medicare does not cover services provided by ambulances such as transport and treatments. The average cost of emergency transport is in excess of $2000.

Victorian ambulance subscription

A Victorian ambulance subscription covers emergency and clinically necessary non-emergency treatments and transport. This membership also covers you if you are interstate. Additionally some health funds offer ambulance subscription as part of their cover. However it is wise to check exactly what is included in this cover.

Other states in Australia have other means of getting cover for ambulance services.

My advice: make sure you have a Victorian Ambulance Subscription.
